{{ 0:amel_sprite.png?100x100}} **Ameliven** (uh-mel-ih-ven) is a Water/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in v1.0 of [[:horizon mons|Horizon 'Mons]], and Wave 4 of [[:new dawn|New Dawn]].

**Ameliven** was first conceptualised on December 5, 2022. It was publicly released on the [[:new dawn|New Dawn]] Minecraft Server on December 15, 2025.

===== Pokédex Entry =====
**Ameliven** is exceptional at stealth; its wing-like cloak allows it to hide in any dark area. **Ameliven** lacks any upper limbs, making it rely exclusively on its legs and psychic abilities. It sometimes conjures hand contrusts with its psychic powers to perform ordinary tasks.
===== Evolution =====

evolves from [[:dawnian torchic|Dawnian Torchic]] at Level 30. **Ameliven** does not evolve.

===== Appearance =====
Ameliven resembles a bipedal bird. It has a blue body with pink accents. On its head, a pink gem can be seen on its forehead, as well as a gem on top of its head. It sports a gray mask which has pink strips coming off of it, with opaque white eyes as well. A cloak can also be seen, resembling a bird's wing. It has a distinct lack of any arms or wings.

**Ameliven** can spawn in Amethyst Canyons and Jungles. It is a **Rare** spawn, and can spawn at level 30-51.

=== Origin ===
**Ameliven** is based on ninjas first and foremost. It is meant to be the opposite of Blaziken. Where Blaziken is bold and brash, **Ameliven** is subtle and strikes only when necessary from the shadows. **Ameliven's** gem placed above its head is meant to resemble a chonmage. **Ameliven's mask is also a nod to Beta Torchic.
