===== Indebted =====

**Indebted** is an ability introduced in v1.0 of [[:horizon mons|Horizon 'Mons]], and Wave 7 of [[:new dawn|New Dawn]].
===== Effect =====
When a Pokémon with **Indebted** is hit by a contact move, the attacker's Ability is changed to **Indebted**. The attacker regains its original Ability once it is switched out, faints, or the battle ends.

If a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a multistrike move that makes contact (such as Fury Swipes), the attacking Pokémon's Ability will become **Indebted** after the first strike.

If a Pokémon with Rock Head uses a recoil contact move on a Pokémon with **Indebted**, its Ability will become **Indebted**, then subsequently it will take recoil damage. If a Pokémon with Parental Bond uses a contact move on a Pokémon with **Indebted**, the Pokémon's Ability will become **Indebted** after the first strike, then the current move will continue to strike a second time regardless. If a Pokémon with Skill Link uses a multistrike contact move on a Pokémon with **Indebted**, the Pokémon's Ability will become **Indebted** after the first strike, then the current move will continue to strike the maximum number of times regardless.

As One, Battle Bond, Comatose, Commander, Disguise, Gulp Missile, Ice Face, Lingering Aroma, Multitype, Power Construct, RKS System, Schooling, Shields Down, Stance Change, Zen Mode, Zero to Hero, and **Indebted**  itself are not affected by **Indebted**.

Contact with the Pokémon changes the attacker's Ability to **Indebted**.

===== Learnset =====
**Indebted** is not currently learned by any Pokémon.

===== Trivia =====
 * Indebted will eventually be given to Luderigus once it's been given a Mega.

 * Indebted is a renamed Mummy, much like Wandering Spirit.
