**Matriarch Carve** is a Fairy-type move introduced in v1.0 of [[:horizon mons|Horizon 'Mons]]. It is the signature move of [[:queentana|Queentana]].
===== Effect =====
**Matriarch Carve** inflicts damage, has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Defense stat by one stage, and bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly. If used by a Pokémon with Sharpness, its power is increased by 50%.

  * Makes contact.
  * Can be selected by Metronome.
  * Can be copied by Mirror Move.
  * Blocked by protection moves.
  * Power is multiplied by 1.5 when used by a Pokemon with the Sharpness Ability.

The user slashes down with great, unstoppable speed. This may also lower targets' Defense stats. This attack never misses.
