**Shadow Swipe** is a Ghost-type move introduced in v1.0 of [[:horizon mons|Horizon 'Mons]], and Wave 7 of [[:new dawn|New Dawn]].
===== Effect =====
**Shadow Swipe** inflicts damage. If the target is holding a Berry, the user will eat the Berry and gain its effect. **Shadow Swipe** will not eat the target's Berry if it hits its substitute. **Shadow Swipe** will not consume the Berry of a target that has the Ability Sticky Hold.

Berries like Liechi or Sitrus Berries will be eaten by the attacker, regardless of them meeting their consumption requirement upon taking damage from **Shadow Swipe**.
