Trivia

* The Drimpact line was originally a 3-stage line, with a middle evolution named Draggle. It was scrapped in order to keep things simple.

Origin

Drimpact is based on the Mantis Shrimp. It also has elements from many other crustaceans, like crabs and lobsters. It uses the concept of a hermit crab finding a shell and combines it with washed up remains, making them based on a dragon. Both of Drimpact's skeleton options are dragons that can live in water, that being Dragonite and Kingdra.

Etymology

Drimpact is a combination of the words dragon/drake, shrimp, and impact.
