Lumbering Dunce was first conceptualized on May 12, 2025. It was publicly released on the New Dawn Minecraft Server on August 13, 2025.

This creature resembles an odd combination of two closely related Pokémon. It is so giant that the ground below it sometimes gives way, creating sink holes. This Pokémon doesn't appear to have a brain, which has stumped researchers.
