-===== Trivia =====
-* At first, Scameleon was called "Crookleon", the name was swapped as it didn't roll off the tongue well.
-
-* Scameleon's purple color is a reference to the Mystery Dungeon Kecleon.
-
-* Its tail was detachable in early iterations, and it could be used as a club. This was abandoned later on as it didn't fit the character well.
-
-* It is the second RisingMons Pokémon created, with Lameyser being the first.
-
-* The initial pitch for Scameleon was the idea that Inteleon had a sort of villain counterpart.
-
-* The Jackson Chameleon was a reference early on, but later on became more inspired by the Frilled Lizard.
-
-=== Origin ===
-Scameleon is based on a Chameleon and Frilled Lizard. Its purple coloring is based on the Kecleon from Mystery Dungeon. Its black eye coverings, hands and feet are to reflect its criminal nature, resembling a mask, gloves, and boots respectively. Its white and translucent tail is to reflect its ghost typing. It's Color Change ability is based on the Chameleon's ability to camouflage.
-=== Etymology ===
-Scameleon is a combination of the words Scam and Chameleon.
