Dawnian Torchic (TOR-chick) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in v1.0 of Horizon 'Mons.
Pokédex Entry
When violent storms hit Hoenn a long time ago, Torchic were forced to adapt in wetter forest environments. It has become extremely skittish and scared of its surroundings. Torchic was forced to rely on stealth to survive. Due to this, its fighting spirit and ability was lost.
Evolution
Dawnian Torchic evolves into Dawnian Combusken at Level 16.
Locations
Dawnian Torchic can spawn in Taiga Biomes. If Terralith is installed, it can also spawn in Amethyst Canyon and Jungle Biomes. It is a Ultra-Rare spawn, and can spawn at level 5-31.

* Along with the Dawnian Mudkip and Dawnian Treecko line, the Dawnian Torchic line are the oldest Pokemon in Horizon 'Mons, being conceived on December 5, 2022.
Origin
Dawnian Torchic is based on ninjas first and foremost. It is meant to be the opposite of the Hoennian Torchic line. Where they are bold and brash, Dawnian Torchic is subtle and strikes only when necessary from the shadows. Dawnian Torchic's gem placed above its head is meant to resemble a chonmage. Dawnian Torchic's mask is also a nod to Beta Torchic.
Etymology
Torchic is a combination of torch and chick.
