Luderigus (Loo-Duh-REE-gus) is a Ghost/Dark-type Pokémon introduced in v1.0 of Horizon Mons, and Wave 2 of New Dawn. It is the evolution of Dawnian Yamask.
Luderigus was first conceptualized on April 20, 2025. It was publicly released on the New Dawn Minecraft Server on May 12, 2025.
Pokédex Entry
This Pokémon seeks out the less fortunate, gradually siphoning away their life force in exchange for a chance to get rich. No one has ever won Luderigus's game. This Pokémon often clashes in brutal fights with Gholdengo.
Evolution
Dawnian Yamask evolves into Luderigus after consuming 777 Relic Coins.
Appearance
Luderigus resembles a slot machine. It has a primary red coloration, with accents of silver, gold, and black. It has one single gold eye peeking out of a hole at the top, and a grin where the slots would be. It also has hand-like accents at the bottom, with a silver protrusion that resembles legs. Its lever has been detached from the side to become a tail, and the entire Pokémon is covered by a black aura, which includes a ghostly hand.
Locations
Luderigus can spawn nearby Relic Coin sacks and pouches. It is a Rare spawn, and can spawn at level 40-78.

Origin
Luderigus is based on the idea of greed and addiction itself. It represents a harsh gambling addiction, by taking the form of a slot machine that literally steals your soul.
Etymology
