Bogolotl (bahg-uh-laa-tl) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in v1.0 of Horizon 'Mons. It is the evolution of Dawnian Marshtomp.

Bogolotl is an easy-going and king spirit. But don't mistake its carefree nature for laziness. It will spring into action if a Pokémon or trainer is in danger. Bogolotl is a resilient and strong-willed fighter. Its punches can shatter even the largest trees.
Evolution
evolves from Dawnian Mudkip at Level 30. Bogolotl does not evolve.
Locations
Bogolotl can spawn in Swamp biomes. It is a Rare spawn, and can spawn at level 31-67.

* Along with the Dawnian Torchic and Dawnian Treecko line, Bogolotl and its line are the oldest Pokemon in Horizon 'Mons, being conceived on December 5, 2022. Bogolotl is, however, the oldest of the trio.
* Bogolotl is Lukidon's favorite.
* Bogolotl, along with Papileon, was voted favorite Dawnian by a group of people on a server called New Dawn.
Origin
Bogolotl, unlike a lot of Pokémon, doesn't really have a main inspiration built around it. It's really just based on axolotls and lily pads. Its personality, however, is based on the gentle giant trope. Bogolotl is however based on the concept of habitat displacement, as in lore, Hoennian Treecko were moved from their forest habitat to higher volcanic regions due to flooding.
Etymology
Bogolotl is a combination of the words bog and axolotl.
