Matriarch Carve is a Fairy-type move introduced in v1.0 of Horizon 'Mons. It is the signature move of Queentana.

Matriarch Carve inflicts damage, has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Defense stat by one stage, and bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly. If used by a Pokémon with Sharpness, its power is increased by 50%.

• Makes contact.
• Can be selected by Metronome.
• Can be copied by Mirror Move.
• Blocked by protection moves.
• Power is multiplied by 1.5 when used by a Pokemon with the Sharpness Ability.

The user slashes down with great, unstoppable speed. This may also lower targets' Defense stats. This attack never misses.
